Proyecto Pintia

Pintia is a pre-roman arqueologic site, in Spain, not far from Valladolid. The people that lived there, for many generations were the Vacceos, and, soon after, the Romans. 22oo years latter, a group of Portuguese friends have been there, having a wonderful time, filled with laughter and happiness. Textiles were an important aspect of the Vacceos´s everyday life, and I had the opportunity of photographing some artifacts. You can see the photos in this blog - Traditional Portuguese Spindle - where I intend to be posting textile tools with "history".
