A smile is one of the simplest and most beautiful expressions of being alive. It can be quiet or exuberant, shy or wonderfully contagious. This week, we celebrate the art of smiling through a collection of portraits filled with colour, movement and spontaneous happiness. Loose, playful lines dance around faces that seem to have forgotten their worries, if only for a moment. Perhaps happiness does not always need a reason. Sometimes, a smile is enough to make the world feel a little lighter.

What happens when creativity becomes abundant?

This week, I reflect on how artificial intelligence is changing our relationship with software, creativity and value. From a developer creating his own alternatives to Adobe to my personal experience building a Tarot application with AI, I explore a future where imagination may matter more than the tools we can afford.

I also share the first three cards from my own Tarot deck, a new artistic adventure in colour, symbolism and intuition.

Perhaps the most exciting thing about AI is not what it creates for us, but what it allows us to create for ourselves.

 This week's theme celebrates the lighter side of visual art, where simplicity, colour and a little absurdity come together to make us smile. With playful characters, expressive gestures and unexpected situations, these illustrations remind us that humour can be as powerful as beauty. A few lines, a cheerful colour palette and a touch of imagination are sometimes all we need to tell a story. Art doesn't always have to be serious. Sometimes, it simply invites us to enjoy the delightful nonsense of everyday life.
